Detection of 3 exons in rhesus D typing
Minimize false negative results!
For accurate prenatal determination of fetal Rhesus factor, we have developed our FastQ® RHD fetal Kit. To ensure maximum safety, our kit types for the three target regions of the RHD gene (5, 7 and 10) using a triple set-up in one PCR run.
Why? Due to the high number of variant RhD alleles, there are Rhesus D variants in which individual exons may be missing. By detecting the three exons, the probability of a false negative result is extremely minimized and reduces the risk of overlooking rare, serologically positive RHD variants.
