    We have geared our testing entirely to your needs: Simple and fast! Get results in just over 60 minutes with our ready-to-use standard reagents. The one-step PCR run (incl. reverse transcription) in the real-time cycler delivers rapid results. In addition, the cell material check reliably ensures negative results.

    The PCR kit uses five colours that are compatible with most common real-time cyclers. We have carried out tests on QuantStudio 6 (Thermo Fisher Scientific), CFX 96TM (Bio-Rad) and Lightcycler® 480 (Roche). The evaluation is done via the hardware manufacturer's software.

    The symptoms of your patients do not provide any information about the causative pathogens. In addition to SARS-CoV-2, influenza A viruses can also cause widespread influenza waves – up to and including continent-spanning pandemics with severe to life-threatening courses of disease. Even influenza B viruses sometimes cause moderately severe illnesses. A rapid diagnosis of the corresponding virus strain facilitates the appropriate treatment of the symptoms that occur.

    The influenza situation has changed considerably with Coronavirus. ViroQ® SARS-FluA/B-RSV provides rapid analysis of test swabs in just one PCR run. This helps to initiate the right treatment and reliably localise SARS-CoV-2 disease. Important laboratory resources are thus optimally used.

    Swab specimen extraction correct – test result reliable

    A correct nasal/pharyngeal swab is essential for a meaningful result. While blood impurities affect performance, inadequate swabs sometimes contain too little cellular material. The ViroQ® SARS-FluA/B-RSV kit rules out "false negative test results" resulting from this: In the test, the detection of a human, universally occurring gene in cells shows whether sufficient cell material is available for valid results.

    One-step real-time PCR

    Our test kit is designed for the specific detection of the viral RNA genes N and RdRP of SARS-CoV-2 as well as influenza A/B or RS viruses from throat/nasal swabs. In our test kits the RNA is converted into cDNA in a one-step PCR procedure. This cDNA is amplified in the same real-time PCR protocol.

    The kit includes the following components:
