Fast and valid results
False negative results, due to insufficient sampling with too little cell material, are excluded by this test. In the ViroQ and ViroQ Rapid Tests, the detection of a human, universally occurring gene in cells shows whether sufficient cell material is available for valid results.

Fast One-Step Real-time PCR
The ViroQ and ViroQ Rapid SARS-CoV-2 Kits are designed for specific detection of viral RNA Gene E and RdRP of SARS-CoV-2 in respiratory samples. In our test kits the RNA is converted from SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) to cDNA in a one-step PCR procedure. This cDNA is then amplified in the same real time PCR protocol.
The kit consists of the following components:

Ready-to-use standard reagents and a one-step PCR run provide fast results. The ViroQ and ViroQ Rapid SARS-CoV-2 tests also contain a control of a human universally expressed gene, which is used to check whether there is enough cell material in the sample to give meaningful results.

The three fluorescent dyes used are compatible with the common real-time cyclers – tested on QuantStudio 6 (Thermo Fischer Scientific), CFX 96TM (Bio-Rad) and Lightcycler® 480 (Roche).
The evaluation is done by the software of the hardware manufacturer.
