HISTO SPOT® HLA AB
HISTO SPOT® HLA AB is based on highly specific recombinant single antigens which cover all important clinically relevant serological specificities and all confirmed epitopes. To maintain the functionality of the proteins, they are spotted to the surface with a patented method. That ensures that the protein structure remains intact and extremely stable over time.
The single antigens and the buffer system have been optimized in order to reduce false positive results due to unspecific reactions or denatured antigens – aiming for more clinical relevance. The protocol with a high initial dilution of the serum has the side effect that the test doesn’t show prozone effects.
MR.SPOT® 2.0 Processor
MR.SPOT® 2.0 Processor runs the whole assay from diluted serum to result and reduces the hands-on time to a minimum (20 min). Due to fully automated washing and pipetting, the easy-to-use instrument makes result obtaining accurate, and easy. Moreover, MR.SPOT® 2.0 automatically records the results by an integrated camera and transfers the image to the HISTO MATCH software for convenient interpretation. The high degree of automation, intuitive handling and low hands-on time expenditure allows without any ramp-up-time to run the test even overnight.
HISTO MATCH Software
Automated image analysis with HISTO MATCH Software determines the pixel intensity of the spot and subtracts the background. Precise assignment of positive reactions is achieved by software-defined sample specific cut-offs. The Mean Colour Intensity (MCI) can be used for a semiquantitative analysis.
