The winners of our trainees' workshop have been announced

Real-time PCR is becoming part of many medical technologist curricula. However, resources for in-depth training at Medical Technology schools are often scarce. That's why we awarded a prize to all MT schools in December 2023 - 5 full-day real-time PCR workshops with our application specialist Waldemar Böhm. The response surprised even us: 25 classes from the 67 MT schools in Germany applied.

Today we drew lots and are pleased to announce the winning schools for the BAG day workshop:
- Medical Vocational School at the University Hospital of Leipzig
- State Examination Office for Health Professions Schools in Koblenz
- MTLA School at the Fulda Clinical Training Centre Fulda
- School for Medical Technology in Laboratory Analysis in Münster
- Medical Vocational School at the Municipal Hospital in Dresden

Participants can expect an exciting day with lots of practical input. Our experienced real-time PCR expert Waldemar Böhm will explain the correct handling of real-time kits and the necessary equipment directly in the classroom. Afterwards, the budding technologists can try their hand at a PCR run themselves. We will bring the real-time cycler and all the necessary reagents. We look forward to welcoming many curious students!
